Springvale Mausoleum needed a continuous sealed surface for the roof structure. After a site visit with the primary contractor Substrate Waterproofing & associated authorities, Rhino Linings PP1195 was decided upon as the best solution for sealing the roof surface.
The original bitumen-based coating had deteriorated & was removed, the subsurface was prepared by diamond grinding then primed.
A 2.5-3mm coating of Rhino PP1195 pure polyurea was then applied for long term durability.
A UV stabilised top coat was also required so 2 coats of Armafloor 500 were applied to complete the project.
The client was very happy with the result & have requested the same Rhino Linings system to waterproof a further three Mausoleums.
